What should cooks know about boiling Eggs?

When a hen is sitting on an egg, she will turn it 50 times a day (so the yolk will not stick to the shell). If you are an egg lover, it behooves you to be just as careful, to make sure that the fruits of the hen's labor are cooked as well as possible.

To prepare:

1. If the eggs are cold, let them reach room temperature.

2. Fill a pot with water and heat it until it is boiling.

3. While the pot is heating, set aside a large bowl filled with cold water and a few ice cubes.

Once the water boils:

4. Gently put the eggs into the water (use a large spoon if necessary).

5. Cook 13 minutes for hard boiled, 4 minutes for medium-boiled, or 3 minutes for soft-boiled. (Add 2 minutes if the eggs are cold.)

6. At the end of the time interval, gently take out the eggs, one at a time, and place them in the bowl of ice water for 2 minutes.

7. After two minutes, remove the eggs. They are ready to eat.

Hint: If you drop egg on the floor, you can make the egg easy to clean up by sprinkling a lot of salt on it. (I tested it.)
