Harley's comments...

Newsdemon has carefully priced its service plans to be both cost effective and competitive. Take a moment to check out the various plans, and I am sure you will have no trouble finding one that meets your needs, especially if you use a lot of bandwidth.

In case you need Usenet software, Newsdemon offers its customers a free version of NewsRover, the popular Usenet newsreader that comes with a free integrated search facility. I have tested the program and the search facility, and I found them to be well-designed and easy to use.

I tested the tech support in two ways. First, I sent in a support ticket via the Newsdemon Web site and waited for an answer by email. It took 3 hours, 21 minutes.

Second, I used the live chat, which is available 24 hours a day. It took a bit over a minute to connect, and I was able to get the answers I wanted in real time. I made sure to be a bit difficult to see how the tech support person would react. He was respectful and competent the entire time.

I have talked at length with the owner of Newsdemon. He has been in business a long time, and, in my opinion, he cares deeply about his customers and about the quality of the service he offers. If you care about the people from whom you buy service, this is a company you can feel comfortable with.

Summary: Newsdemon is a well-run company that provides fast, reliable Usenet service, a variety of economical plans, and 24/7 tech support including live chat.
