The Art Factory
Mural at the Bell Arts Factory: Ventura, California
16 feet x 10 feet  Latex paint on cement
Harley Hahn, 2004

Work in progress: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7       Finished mural: 8 9 10

Image 9: The finished mural. You can see me (on the right) standing with Josh Addison (center), the developer responsible for creating the Bell Arts Factory. To the far left, you see Josh's daughter Emily who, at the time, was 8 years old.

Below is an enlargement of the part of the photo with Emily Addison. Notice how her posture and movement blends in perfectly with the energy of the painting. In her right hand, Emily is holding a green apple, symbolizing whatever your art teacher says it symbolizes. If you look closely, you can see that Emily's shoelaces are undone. (She has since tied them.)
